WELCOME TO TRINITY!
This morning we remember with joy our Lord’s resurrection, with its promise of forgiveness and life for us all. The liturgical color of the Easter season is white, reflecting the joy of this the queen of festivals.
IN OUR PRAYERS:
Sonja Nordling, Ryker French, Arthur Lueck, Victor Martinek, Linda Trier, Joyce Nyman, Lois Bahr, Sara Dressler, Retta Braun, Hallie Matthews, Suzanne Dennis, Gretchen Kuhnau, Jim Riedl, Joe Dalton, Ariel Nelson, Norma Warneke, Ellen Trumball, Bill Wolbrecht, Robbie-great grandson of Bruce Kuhnau, Shawnee-mother of Irene McIntosh, Larry David, Harriet Mills, and George Kammer.
SUNDAY SCHOOL EGG HUNT:
All children will meet in the Gym at 10:00 AM, decorate sacks, follow the Youth Group to the hunting area and hunt for eggs!
REMODLING TO BEGIN:
As soon as school gets out for the summer, the long-anticipated remodeling of Trinity will begin. Our helpers from Laborers for Christ will already begin arriving in early June so we can get a running start on June 17, the first work day after school lets out. The four Laborers for Christ families will be joining our fellowship, worshiping with us on Sundays, and living in RVs on our property throughout the summer. Remodeling will include replacement of most of the exterior windows, walls and doors of the pre-1974 school building; remodeling of bathrooms throughout the building to provide accessibility for disabled individuals; expanding the Fellowship Hall; development of a new covered entrance to the school; moving the offices from their current locations to the current pre-school classrooms near the school entrance; remodeling several classrooms; upgrading fire alarms and security systems; remodeling the school hallway; and refinishing the doors at the entrance of the church.
And here’s where you come in! We need a passel of volunteers to do all sorts of things. We will need people who are willing to do work tearing out the old windows and walls, cleanup crews to get rid of building waste materials, painters, landscapers, lawn mowers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, low voltage experts, volunteer coordinators, hosts for the weekly potluck for all volunteers and the Laborers for Christ crew, and people to encourage others through prayers. If you are willing to volunteer for any or all of these activities, please see Chuck Kunert or Lanny Afrank and let them know.
Let’s make this a good old-fashioned Trinity barn raising!

LSEM has expanded into nine states with similar programs. Please bring your mites next Sunday.
THANK YOU to all who contributed to the “Baskets of Promise” LWR personal care kits. Through your generosity we were able to assemble 39 kits for use for people who are displaced, victims of war, famine, and natural disaster.
