Throughout the country and around the world, Bethesda Lutheran Communities is a leading provider of person-directed, community-based and Christ-centered support and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Established in 1904, Bethesda offers a variety of options to individuals and their families, including residential services, community life programs, employment assistance, spiritual supports and other outreach services.
The Bethesda auxiliary is a support and fundraising arm at Trinity and other churches for the Bethesda program. Auxiliary membership is $5 per year, and a membership drive occurs in January and February. Trinity’s auxiliary has 25 members and offers several fundraising opportunities throughout the year. Trinity members serve as representatives on the regional Bethesda Auxiliary board.
Trinity specifically supports Simpson House in our neighborhood, by remembering the residents with visits, parties, and gifts.
