Trinity Women in Service
Trinity Dorcas Society is part of LWML, Lutheran Women in Mission, the official women’s auxiliary of the LCMS. We have events from September through June and the activities are designed to meet our goals of Christian growth, service, mission and fellowship.
We support, through MITE BOX contributions, the worldwide mission projects of both the OR District LWML and National LWML. Trinity LWML women also support mission opportunities within our own church, school and NE Portland community.
Trinity’s Dorcas Society gives women an opportunity to gather with a purpose – to be in God’s Word, to be in fellowship with one another, to reach out in His name and to serve Him with gladness. All women are welcome and encouraged to take part in the mission and ministry of Trinity Dorcas through the following opportunities.

• Coffee Hour with Mite Box collection, every third Sunday
• Quilting, every third Saturday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (September to April)
• Altar Guild
• Holiday Cookie Exchange and Pie Sale
• Annual Fall Women’s Retreat
• Zone Rallies, OR District LWML Conventions, OR District LWML Retreats
• Special Activities/Events
